Sensing pH, DNA and proteins
We simulate bio sensors that consist of a semiconductor that is connected to a "bio material", e.g. a charged molecule in a liquid (electrolyte).
An electrical or optical signal in the semiconductor is generated to detect DNA, proteins or the pH value.
The semiconductor can be, for instance, a GaN/AlGaN HEMT, a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) transistor or a nanowire.
